Using OneDrive to Back Up Your Files

MSU provides all faculty and staff with 5TB of OneDrive cloud storage space that you can use to back up your documents and important files.

Below we have listed links to several Microsoft resources for setting up OneDrive on your computer. We recommend setting up a OneDrive folder that syncs automatically with the cloud so you do not need to worry about losing files in the event of a computer failure or other accident.

Files or folders that you want to keep but not have on your local computer anymore can be uploaded to OneDrive and you can turn sync’ing off for them so they will be stored in the cloud but will free up hard disk space on your actual computer.

Please use the following links to get started and if you have any questions or need assistance setting up your OneDrive please contact the CAL Tech Office at help@cal.msu.edu or by calling 517-432-6200
