Next Steps

  • Put what you already have on D2L (e.g. syllabus, handouts, slides, gradebook setup)
  • Make a plan for how you will handle lectures, discussions, demonstrations
    • You might consider making a Google Doc as a shared discussion forum to get things started while you determine other changes that need to be made
  • If you haven’t already, send out initial communication via email telling them D2L will be the hub for online course activity
    • Use D2L as primary means of communication after the initial email
