Contacting Your Class
The Registrar maintains an registrar’s instructor systems page you can use to contact your class, and which you will use for grading and other tasks. You can often access your class list and the email tool there before your D2L access is enabled. If you are having trouble seeing your course in D2L please contact your department or Academic Operations (contact info below).
Teaching Tools & Support
MSU provides a large number of tools for teaching. You can find many of these tools on the MSU A-Z Teaching Tools list, but we have highlighted a few key tools below.
D2L Brightspace
D2L is MSU’s centrally supported learning management system.
Kaltura Mediaspace
Mediaspace is MSU’s streaming media server for uploading and streaming videos for course use.
MS365 Tools Suite
MSU provides access to the MS365 suite of tools including the full MS Office suite and a number of other tools that can be used for teaching and learning such as MS Teams, Flipgrid, and MS Bookings.
